I say farewell, but not goodbye
You were here for such a short time, you touched Close
so many lives, including mine.
Were you an angel, we just don't know. We only
wish you hadn't had to go.
Now there's a void, an empty place. All I see
before me is your sweet face.
Life seems so creul and so unfair. I only wish that
you were still here.
Although our loss is your gain, for where
you are there is no pain,
I tell you now, of this I'm certain. When life here
ends, it's no final curtain.
Just a door to a bright new place, full of joy, light
You will be remembered always as someone who
brightened all our days.
I say farewell, but not goodbye, for I know that we
will meet again on high.
